The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) says it has concluded the ADIS International Roadshow 2026 at EXPO REAL in Munich, using the three day event to advance what it describes as new cooperation pathways between the UAE and Germany’s infrastructure and delivery ecosystem.
In a statement issued on 22 October 2026, ADPIC said the roadshow resulted in the signing of five strategic Memoranda of Understanding and more than 100 targeted business and government engagements, aimed at strengthening infrastructure ties and connecting Abu Dhabi’s capital project programme with German and European expertise.
ADPIC said the roadshow built on the momentum of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s State Visit to Germany in September 2026, which it described as the first State Visit by a UAE President to Germany and said it launched a Strategic Dialogue covering areas including trade and investment, technology, and transportation.
According to ADPIC, the Munich delegation included more than 40 representatives from across Abu Dhabi, including the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA), Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), Aldar, Bloom Holding, LEAD Development, Modon and Trojan Construction Holding.
Five cooperation frameworks signed
ADPIC said the key outcome was the execution of the five MoUs on cooperation frameworks spanning digital delivery, private sector participation, investment readiness, design standards, engagement with German industry, and support for infrastructure and real assets.
- Siemens AG: ADPIC said the MoU explores cooperation on digital delivery, advanced technology, modern construction methods, and low carbon infrastructure approaches.
- Partners Group: ADPIC said the partnership focuses on private sector participation, PPP structures, investment readiness, bankability, and risk allocation related to Abu Dhabi’s capital project programme.
- PATRIZIA: ADPIC said the agreement supports cooperation across infrastructure and real assets, including private sector participation, financing, governance, ESG, and green financing approaches.
- HENN: ADPIC said the MoU focuses on design standards and masterplanning, urban design, climate responsive design, BIM, and digital delivery.
- German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK): ADPIC said the agreement is intended to strengthen engagement with German industry through business introductions, dialogue, and knowledge exchange around PPP and Musataha structures.
ADPIC said the MoUs were signed on its behalf by His Excellency Eng. Maysarah Mahmoud Salim Eid, Director General of ADPIC, alongside senior representatives from Siemens, Partners Group, AHK, PATRIZIA, and HENN.
Event featured executive briefings and conference sessions
ADPIC said the roadshow linked Abu Dhabi’s “approximately 500 project” and a reported “US$56bn+” capital programme with international partners. It said discussions were directed at private sector participation, technology, innovation, and long term asset performance.
Beyond MoU signing, ADPIC said the delegation engaged with state and city representatives, economic development organisations, investors, engineering and architecture practices, contractors, technology companies, and urban development specialists. It cited meetings with organisations including Baden Württemberg International (BW_i) and NRW Global Business, as well as the Lord Mayor of Stuttgart and HafenCity Hamburg.
ADPIC also said the delegation participated in EXPO REAL’s conference programme, including a keynote by Eng. Maysarah Mahmoud Salim Eid, and a panel discussion titled Building Abu Dhabi’s Future: From Infrastructure Pipeline to Global Partnerships. It said the panel covered governance, regulatory and private sector frameworks supporting Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure programme.
Quote from ADPIC
ADPIC quoted its Director General as saying that the value of the Munich roadshow lay in turning international engagement into practical cooperation and connecting Abu Dhabi’s programme with expertise that can support delivery. ADPIC also said the director general described the five agreements as bringing complementary strengths across technology, construction, private sector participation, design, real assets, and German industry.
ADPIC said it is continuing the ADIS format beyond an annual summit by positioning it as a year round platform, following previous roadshows in Singapore, Shanghai, and Türkiye.
