SIG said it will present six new ready-to-drink beverage concepts at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 in Dubai, taking place from 3 to 5 November 2026.
The packaging and processing systems company described the concepts as product ideas developed by its product innovation team, intended to show how food and beverage manufacturers can respond to changing consumer preferences and explore new growth categories across the product lifecycle, from formulation through filling and packaging.
SIG said this year’s concepts cover areas including functional nutrition, protein-focused beverages, hydration and indulgent flavors. The company also said the concepts demonstrate how emerging trends can be translated into “market-ready” solutions.
The six beverage concepts
According to SIG, the six concepts include:
- Nutri+, described as a nutrient-dense ready-to-drink meal replacement for consumers undergoing GLP-1 treatments, combining fiber, essential vitamins and minerals and L-carnitine.
- ProFuel Protein Toffee Nut Drink, described as lactose-free and formulated to deliver 18g of protein, with added fiber and no added sugar.
- Choco Boost, described as a double-chocolate, milkshake-style beverage with B-complex vitamins for young, active consumers.
- Hydra Melon, described as a watermelon and strawberry-flavored drink with electrolytes and natural fruit sugars for active lifestyles.
- Tama Burst, described as a tamarind and plum beverage inspired by regional flavors, with natural fruit sugars and no artificial colors.
- Filo Booza, described as a creamy, dessert-inspired drink featuring real pistachio pieces, enabled by SIG’s Drinksplus technology.
Innovation hub and technology integration
SIG said the concepts were developed at its SIG Product Innovation & Application Hub in Dubai, where it supports customers from recipe formulation and application testing to processing and test filling.
SIG also said it combines product innovation with packaging expertise to support manufacturers in exploring new product categories, packaging systems and accelerating development of solutions.
Executives to appear at Gulfood Manufacturing
In comments attributed to SIG, Niall Hoey, Director of Markets MEA at SIG, said food and beverage manufacturers are looking to differentiate their portfolios and respond to changing consumer needs, adding that the six concepts reflect SIG’s approach of pairing product development expertise with filling and packaging technologies.
The company said it will host visitors at its exhibition booth in Hall 4, C4-4, where attendees can view the six concepts and discuss collaboration opportunities. SIG said Anne Erkens, CEO of SIG, will also attend the exhibition.
SIG said it will take part in the event’s conference programming as well. Abdelghany Eladib, President & General Manager IMEA at SIG, will join a Food Forum panel titled “Building Sovereignty and Resilience: Supply Chain Strategies for Food Manufacturers” on November 3 at 13:20. On November 5 at 15:00, SIG said it will host a masterclass, “Winning the Consumer Occasion: How Packaging Innovation Enables Growth in a Changing Market,” led by Rosario Ciancimino, Vice President Global Product Management at SIG.
