Vvv Surges On Venice Ai User Growth, Analysts Caution On Tech Risks

Venice token shares, commonly referred to as the VVV token, rose sharply in today’s session as demand for AI-focused crypto assets picked up alongside a broader rally across cryptocurrency markets. The token traded as high as $14.80 after climbing from this week’s low of $12.83, with market attention turning to whether momentum can extend as additional AI-related listings approach.

At the same time, Venice’s underlying platform has shown signs of growing traction. Data compiled by SimilarWeb indicated that the Venice AI website attracted more than 12.13 million visitors last month—up 22% from the prior month—helping reinforce investor expectations that usage and token demand could remain supported.

    Key takeaways

    • Price move: VVV jumped to a high of $14.80 from this week’s low of $12.83.
    • Catalyst: Rising attention to AI tokens and evidence of stronger platform usage, according to SimilarWeb visitor data.
    • Tokenomics support: Venice’s ongoing token burns, including an increase in the portion of fees allocated to burning VVV.
    • Market implication: Additional AI-related IPO chatter may lift sentiment, but technical risks could limit follow-through.
    • Risk to watch: Analysts cited potential bearish chart developments and indicator weakness.

    What drove the move

Interest in VVV appears to be tied to two overlapping themes: growing consumer adoption of Venice AI and renewed investor focus on AI-themed digital assets.

SimilarWeb data shows that the Venice AI website logged over 12.13 million visitors last month, a 22% increase compared with the previous month. The report said the largest share of traffic came from the United States, followed by India, Mexico and Indonesia. Venice AI positions itself as a search-style platform that aggregates access to popular AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude and Grok within a single interface, with an emphasis on privacy—according to the article, the service does not store user data on its servers.

On the token side, Venice’s tokenomics have also been in focus. The article said Venice has continued to support the token through periodic burns, using a portion of fee revenue to incinerate VVV tokens. It also noted that Venice increased the share of fees directed toward burning the token most recently.

Burn activity has been accelerating, according to website-reported data cited in the article: Venice burned tokens worth more than $191,000 this month. That figure is contrasted with a $237,000 burn recorded last month, suggesting the run-rate may be rising. The article further stated that monthly burns have been trending upward after bottoming around $70,000 earlier this year, and that about 42% of the total supply has been burned to date.

Market reaction and the AI IPO backdrop

Beyond Venice-specific metrics, broader market sentiment toward AI assets has contributed to today’s bid. The article connected the token’s strength to the ongoing AI boom and pointed to an IPO-related catalyst in the wider market.

It also referenced heightened expectations around major AI-related offerings. The article said OpenAI made a confidential filing earlier this week, while Anthropic’s filing came two weeks earlier. It added that Perplexity—described as a company valued at more than $20 billion—has been expected to go public this year as well.

In addition, the piece highlighted staking demand for the token, noting that VVV offers a staking yield of 12%. For investors, staking rewards can increase near-term holding demand—particularly during periods when token prices are rising and yields appear attractive relative to broader risk conditions.

Still, the rally is occurring alongside caution in parts of the AI-token complex. The article pointed to a recent collapse of Humanity Protocol after hackers accessed a private key, leading to theft of more than $30 million and enabling minting. It added that some analysts suspect insider involvement, though it presented this as a belief rather than a confirmed conclusion.

    Technical risks investors are watching

While fundamental and sector-driven factors appear to be supporting demand, the article warned that chart signals may be turning less favorable.

According to the piece’s technical read of VVV’s daily trading, the token surged earlier this month and peaked at $21.41 before retreating to a low of $12.83. It stated that the low was also the weakest point since May 16. Despite the rebound, the article said the token has remained above the 50-day exponential moving average, a level it described as supportive for bulls.

However, the article also flagged potential vulnerability. It claimed VVV may be forming a head-and-shoulders pattern, and that the token moved below the Supertrend indicator. It further described the move as entering the “distribution” phase in the Wyckoff Theory framework, which it said can be associated with weaker follow-through. If that scenario plays out, the article suggested VVV could retest the $10 area.

    What to watch next

Investors will likely focus on whether VVV can hold above key trend levels as demand tied to AI enthusiasm and staking incentives continues. Near-term catalysts to monitor include additional clarity around AI-related listings referenced in the article and whether the broader cryptocurrency market can sustain its current momentum. On the Venice-specific front, follow-through in token burn totals—and whether fee-driven burns continue to rise—may be another determining factor for sentiment.
