Legaline has officially launched what it describes as the UAE’s first AI-native legal services platform, aiming to modernise legal workflows across the country’s highly fragmented regulatory and business environment.
Headquartered in Dubai, the LegalTech startup combines AI-powered legal research, automated document drafting, multilingual communication, and integrated client-lawyer workflows into a single platform built specifically for the UAE market.
The launch comes as the UAE legal services sector continues expanding rapidly, with the market projected to grow from approximately USD 5 billion in 2024 to USD 7.6 billion by 2030.
Built for the UAE’s Complex Legal Environment
Unlike many international legal platforms adapted from Western markets, Legaline says its infrastructure was designed specifically around the UAE’s legal framework, which spans:
- federal UAE law
- emirate-level regulations
- DIFC regulations
- ADGM frameworks
- dozens of free zones across the country
According to the company, the platform currently indexes more than 60,000 searchable legal passages across 33 UAE jurisdictions, including federal laws, free zone regulations, and financial centre rules.
AI Tools for Lawyers and Businesses
The platform introduces several AI-powered features targeted at legal professionals and businesses operating in the UAE.
Among them is an AI legal research assistant capable of generating responses with inline citations linked to UAE legal sources. Legaline also launched a document drafting system designed to automate the preparation of commercial agreements and legal documentation.
Another feature, called “Brainstorm,” allows multiple AI models to collaborate simultaneously on legal analysis, combining systems from providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Groq.
The company says the platform supports real-time communication and translation across English, Arabic, and Russian.
Focus on Accessibility and Regional Expansion
Legaline’s workflow allows businesses to publish legal requests while licensed lawyers can respond through a closed bidding process. Communication, document signing, and payment handling all take place directly inside the platform.
Founder and CEO Dmitry Grinik said the goal is to make advanced legal infrastructure more accessible to smaller firms, solo practitioners, and advisory teams operating across the UAE.
The company plans to begin regional expansion into broader Middle East markets following its UAE rollout.
UAE Continues Expanding Its AI and Digital Economy Ecosystem
The launch reflects the UAE’s wider push to position itself as a regional hub for artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and next-generation business technologies.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi have both accelerated investments in AI regulation, startup ecosystems, and digital transformation initiatives in recent years, creating growing opportunities for AI-focused companies operating in legal, financial, and enterprise software sectors.
